Birthday Dinner at Steak ‘n Shake

Here we are at Steak ‘n Shake!

Here we are sitting at Zack's favorite, Steak 'n Shake.

Zachary’s birthday was August 10 so we had his birthday dinner at Steak n’ Shake.  Zachary loves Steak n’ Shake!  The only thing he loves more than a large burger is a thick milkshake, and, of course, Steak ‘n Shake has both.

Milkshake to start

First, he ordered his shake.  He chose the cookie dough milkshake.

He's so silly!

Triple burger is the steak to go with the shake.

Then he ordered a triple burger with cheese, but he’s weird so he ordered it plain… just meat, cheese, and bread.  Whatever makes him happy!

Dad enjoyed his BBQ burger, too.

Dad ordered their new Western BBQ burger.  He really enjoyed it, too.

Little brother, Isaac, joins Zachary for a shake.

Isaac enjoyed his chicken strips and Nutella shake.

Isaac and I both order chicken strips except he ordered ranch while I ordered honey mustard dipping sauce.  He washed it all down with a Nutella milkshake while I enjoyed their sweet iced tea.  They really do have great tea.

My Favorite Part?

Most of our meals were off the $3.99 menu and the shakes were half price for happy hour.  My mom would say, “You can’t beat that with a stick.”  You really can’t.

Our server, Ariel, at the Memphis, Tennessee restaurant on Hacks Cross was EXCEPTIONAL!  We have had horrible service at this restaurant in the past, but yesterday the service was phenomenal.  The shakes were made quickly.  The waitress was friendly and refilled our tea and water quickly.  The food was timely, fresh, and hot.  We really had a nice dinner there.  Thank you, Ariel!
