I am a BzzAgent. As a BzzAgent, I was given a coupon to purchase one package of Land O Lakes European Style Butter to try out, review, and share the Bzz with my friends. I consider you guys to be my friends so I’m sharing. I did not receive any monetary compensation for this review.
It tastes like butter.
When I say that it tastes like butter, that doesn’t really seem like much of a compliment for something that is, well, butter. However, no product can ever go wrong by tasting like butter to me. One of my mother’s favorite compliments for food items is “like butter”. Butter has always been the standard that other foods must try to live up to.
It is definitely different that my usual butter. I could not and would not choose between this butter and my regular butter. I prefer having both on hand kind of like gouda cheese and cheddar cheese. Sometimes I want gouda. Sometimes I want cheddar. Sometimes I want both.
It is really thick and creamy. It doesn’t seem to melt as quickly as my regular butter, but it spreads easier. I suppose that could be the higher milk fat content. It’s kind of hard to go wrong adding more fat to a product unless you’re on a diet. I’m not. I should be, but I’m not.
