My birthday is Monday!
I’m going to be 42.
That just floors me. In honor of my upcoming birthday, my husband did the cooking for dinner… with a little help from the kids.
He grilled shrimp coating them in a little butter with a light sprinkle of salt and pepper. After the shrimp came off the grill, my daughter melted some more butter (it’s a special occasion) and added a garlic blend (pictured below) while adjusting the salt to absolute perfection then tossed the shrimp in it. Oh my goodness!
Here are the shrimp after they were tossed in the yumminess. Don’t they look amazing? They tasted better than they looked.
He even made me a huge salad to with my shrimp. I tossed a few shrimp into the salad.
I might have to consider turning 42 more often, and there are still 2 days of spoiling to come. I can hardly wait!
