  1. Had lots of wonderful gatherings with family and ate out a lot at restaurants together too! Had fresh Watermelon and pears, and other delicious home grown foods from the garden we had this year. Out of town day trips were lots of fun and hope to make it to the beach again before it turns cold! Thank you!!

  2. We traveled to Key West (which was on my Bucket List) and had a wonderful time. Hubby wants to go back so he can eat at Sloppy Joe’s again!

  3. This was not a “fun” summer because I didn’t travel, we didn’t have visitors from out of town. It was just us and our in-the-area family. Simple. Quiet. Lovely. And no sicknesses.

  4. My family and I took our first road trip to the West. We saw 10 states none of us had ever been to before, and it was amazing. Thanks for the chance!

  5. My most exciting event of the summer was getting to go to New York City and spend the day with the entire cast of Orange is the New Black, What a memorable day.

  6. We had fun this summer looking after our 6 yr old Granddaughter, we took her walking and biking in the park, she was a joy to have in our home, she started school a week ago and now we miss her.

  7. My husband semi -retired after working 60 hours a week for 35 years. We visited one son in Ozarks, another son in Denver and saw Ed Sheer @ RED Rocks whoo hoo!, went to Orlando with another son and finally one of the most fun weddings in my life-my oldest son’s remarriage. But also sorrow. My younger brother had stroke, heart attack and broken hip after decades of mental illness. He is alive in nursing home.

  8. Giving a gift is a long time form of sharing one s love and appreciation for another. It strengthens bonds and creates happiness in the giver that surpasses the satisfaction of buying things for oneself.

  9. We were all over our home state this summer. I think the highlight was our trip to the Milwaukee Zoo for their dinosaur exhibit. We had so much fun!

  10. This summer I went to my cousins wedding which was fun! It was nice seeing the whole family together having a great time!

  11. We visited the upper Midwest, where we are from, and were able to see friends we haven’t seen for over 10 years!

  12. We took the Jeep up to Colorado for an escape from the Texas heat and some camping. Nothing like camp stove breakfasts surrounded by trees and mountains!

  13. This summer I was able to spend time with my two sons early in the morning exercising and working on all our vehicles teaching the how to maintenance them.
