Back To Normal

Arnica Cream

Review

My First Impressions

The texture is a nice creamy, almost buttery, consistency, but it is NOT oily.  It has a very smooth feeling and absorbs into the skin very nicely.  I didn’t feel like I was wearing cream on top of my skin.  The scent is nearly non-existent, but pleasant.  It is not perfumey.  It reminds me of an old-fashioned lotion.  I like that.

But Does It Work?

Consistency and perfume are nice, but the claim here is pain relief.

I have been having some pains around my wrist and lower arm (blogging too much perhaps?).  It has been bothering me for a few days leading me to take pain relief pills.  Once this cream arrived, I decided that I had to try it on my wrist.  I tried it the first night that it arrived.  I tried it the following two nights as well just to make sure the results were the same.

Here is my wrist with the Arnica Cream rubbed in. It doesn’t look greasy because it’s not.

My Verdict

It works!  I am astounded to be honest.  I don’t know how it works.  All I know is that I had pain, rubbed this cream around my wrist, and the pain went away.  I’m feelin’ good!

  • When my Hubs came home from the hospital from having a knee replacement, he took some arnica tablets that were suppose to help with bruising.

    • I did a little reading up on arnica and read that they are sometimes used for orally (in strongly diluted form) for bruising. This is a cream that is just to be used topically.
