Meat Sauce for Spaghetti in the Slow Cooker

I just love my slow cooker.  It makes my life so much easier.  This meat sauce is another recipe that uses my cooked and browned ground meat in the freezer.  If you missed that post, you can find it Here!

I cooked and browned ground meat (ground turkey in this case) with a little oil, onions, bell peppers, and my favorite season all.  After it was cooked, I divided it up and froze it for later.  “Later” would be today.  A little work one day saves me from having to cook and brown my ground meat for several other days.  It’s worth the effort.

I toss my frozen ground meat into the slow cooker for a little while to thaw it enough to break it apart with a wooden spoon.  A quick trip in the microwave could do the same thing.

It just doesn’t get much easier.

Toss everything into the slow cooker and go about your day.  Right before dinner, make pasta, adjust seasoning, and serve.  Yum!
