The TEXT Bible Review

Many thanks to Harper Collins Christian Publishing for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions about the TEXT Bible are 100% my own and NOT influenced by monetary compensation.

I am so excited to get to share my review of the NET TEXT Bible. My plan was to give my copy of the NET TEXT Bible away since I have several different translations that I study regularly, and this Bible is designed for young people or new Christians who aren’t ready to dig deep in their own study… but once I read it, I realized that this would be the perfect translation for developing lessons for children and young people. I am in the middle of writing a VBS program for this coming summer, and I am definitely leaning toward reading the Bible stories from this NET TEXT Bible.

I especially love all the features that further explain, illustrate, and illuminate the scriptures. Ideal for teens, young adults, new believers, and anyone who doesn’t feel confident engaging Scripture on their own. A Bible for students that doesn’t talk down to them and teaches who God is, how to engage with Scripture, and how to have a personal relationship with him. There is so much insight into God’s Word explaining all the things that more mature Christians often take for granted and forget that not everyone knows… and quite frankly, some of us more mature Christians have forgotten at least a few of these points here and there.

Not just a great Bible for young people and new Christians, but also a great resource to teachers of young people and new Christians. This NET TEXT Bible is full of lesson ideas and inspiration for developing messages that are filled with the information that new Christians need to become mature in their walk.
