Easy Canned Salmon Salad #Recipe

If you’ve been following my recipes for long, you probably realize that my husband is not a fan of fish and seafood.  However, I could eat ONLY fish and seafood for all my life and not complain.  Since I’m too lazy, um, … I mean, “busy”… to cook two meals (Seriously, who needs that kind of hassle?), a quick and easy seafood lunch is a great way to get the seafood I love while still having a dinner that my husband enjoys.  My favorite quick and easy seafood lunch is this Easy Canned Salmon Salad.

The canned salmon needs to have the liquid strained off.  Next, I use a fork to flake the salmon apart and make it fluffy.  Now, I use one celery stick with leaves and chop it rather small.  The celery leaves have lots of flavor while the celery stick gives each bite a nice crunch.

In all my pictures here, I used 1/4 cup of mayonnaise.  If you prefer your fish salads (tuna salad, salmon salad, etc.) wetter, add a little more than a quarter cup.  If you prefer your fish salads drier, add a little less than a quarter cup of mayo.

Canned salmon, chopped celery with leaves, mayonnaise, and Old Bay Seasoning are simply mixed together.  I like to eat my easy canned salmon salad on crackers, celery sticks, or in lettuce wraps.
